창세기 8:1–22 (NKRV)
1하나님이 노아와 그와 함께 방주에 있는 모든 들짐승과 가축을 기억하사 하나님이 바람을 땅 위에 불게 하시매 물이 줄어들었고
2깊음의 샘과 하늘의 창문이 닫히고 하늘에서 비가 그치매
3물이 땅에서 물러가고 점점 물러가서 백오십 일 후에 줄어들고
4일곱째 달 곧 그 달 열이렛날에 방주가 아라랏 산에 머물렀으며
5물이 점점 줄어들어 열째 달 곧 그 달 초하룻날에 산들의 봉우리가 보였더라
6사십 일을 지나서 노아가 그 방주에 낸 창문을 열고
7까마귀를 내놓으매 까마귀가 물이 땅에서 마르기까지 날아 왕래하였더라
8그가 또 비둘기를 내놓아 지면에서 물이 줄어들었는지를 알고자 하매
9온 지면에 물이 있으므로 비둘기가 발 붙일 곳을 찾지 못하고 방주로 돌아와 그에게로 오는지라 그가 손을 내밀어 방주 안 자기에게로 받아들이고
10또 칠 일을 기다려 다시 비둘기를 방주에서 내놓으매
11저녁때에 비둘기가 그에게로 돌아왔는데 그 입에 감람나무 새 잎사귀가 있는지라 이에 노아가 땅에 물이 줄어든 줄을 알았으며
12또 칠 일을 기다려 비둘기를 내놓으매 다시는 그에게로 돌아오지 아니하였더라
13육백일 년 첫째 달 곧 그 달 초하룻날에 땅 위에서 물이 걷힌지라 노아가 방주 뚜껑을 제치고 본즉 지면에서 물이 걷혔더니
14둘째 달 스무이렛날에 땅이 말랐더라
15하나님이 노아에게 말씀하여 이르시되
16너는 네 아내와 네 아들들과 네 며느리들과 함께 방주에서 나오고
17너와 함께 한 모든 혈육 있는 생물 곧 새와 가축과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다 이끌어내라 이것들이 땅에서 생육하고 땅에서 번성하리라 하시매
18노아가 그 아들들과 그의 아내와 그 며느리들과 함께 나왔고
19땅 위의 동물 곧 모든 짐승과 모든 기는 것과 모든 새도 그 종류대로 방주에서 나왔더라
20노아가 여호와께 제단을 쌓고 모든 정결한 짐승과 모든 정결한 새 중에서 제물을 취하여 번제로 제단에 드렸더니
21여호와께서 그 향기를 받으시고 그 중심에 이르시되 내가 다시는 사람으로 말미암아 땅을 저주하지 아니하리니 이는 사람의 마음이 계획하는 바가 어려서부터 악함이라 내가 전에 행한 것 같이 모든 생물을 다시 멸하지 아니하리니
22땅이 있을 동안에는 심음과 거둠과 추위와 더위와 여름과 겨울과 낮과 밤이 쉬지 아니하리라

1But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided.
2The fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained,
3and the waters receded from the earth continually. At the end of 150 days the waters had abated,
4and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
5And the waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
6At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made
7and sent forth a raven. It went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.
8Then he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground.
9But the dove found no place to set her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him.
10He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.
11And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.
12Then he waited another seven days and sent forth the dove, and she did not return to him anymore.
13In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried from off the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry.
14In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth had dried out.
15Then God said to Noah,
16“Go out from the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.
17Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—that they may swarm on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”
18So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him.
19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by families from the ark.
20Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21And when the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
22While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
